WAIVER AND RELEASE
I, understand and acknowledge that participation in THE SHRED 5K involves physical activity and carries inherent risks of injury, illness, or even death. These may include, but are not limited to: sprains, fractures, dehydration, heat stroke, collisions, or accidents due to environmental conditions, equipment, or other participants.
I certify that I am physically fit to participate in this event and have not been advised otherwise by a qualified medical professional.
By accepting these conditions, I agree to the following:
Assumption of Risk: I voluntarily assume all risks associated with participation in this sporting event.
Release of Liability: I hereby release, waive, and discharge The Shred, its officers, directors, employees, volunteers, sponsors, and agents from any and all liability, claims, demands, actions, or causes of action arising out of or related to any loss, damage, or injury, including death, that may be sustained during or as a result of participation in this event.
Indemnification: I agree to indemnify and hold harmless the above parties from any loss, liability, damage, or costs they may incur due to my participation.
Medical Treatment: In the event of an emergency, I authorize medical treatment to be administered as deemed necessary by event staff or emergency personnel.
Media Release: I grant permission for the use of my name, image, voice, or likeness in any photographs, videos, or media coverage of the event for promotional or commercial purposes.
Minors: (If participant is under 18) This waiver must be signed by a parent or legal guardian.
